2008 –  Present: Psychologist/Owner, David McPhee Family Forensic Psychology, Phoenix, Arizona. Provide forensic and consultation services statewide.

1998 – 2008: Psychologist/Owner, Well Being Systems, Arizona. Provide collaborative divorce, clinical and forensic services for families.

1997 – 1998: Clinical Director, Desert Vista Hospital and Arizona Psychiatric Affiliates, for Ramsey Health Care International (Arizona division).

1989 – 1997: Clinical Director, River City Mental Health Clinic, P.A., Saint Paul, Minnesota. Hired and directed a staff of 15 senior clinicians. Provided therapy, custody evaluations, and related forensic services.

1987 – 1989: Senior Pastor,  Guardian Angels Church, Saint Paul.  Led a diverse 7000-member congregation in transition.

1981 – 1987: Senior Pastor, Corpus Christi Church, Saint Paul. Led a 2000-member University-related parish with a program and school staff of 16.

1970 –1981: Director of Pastoral Care, Saint Joseph's Hospital, Saint Paul, Minnesota. Established and managed programs of pastoral care and education.

PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT AND VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES

Part-time duties have included serving as Adjunct Professor, University of St. Thomas School of Divinity. (Counseling), Instructor, University of Minnesota Graduate School, Consulting Psychologist, Midwest Spine Institute, Stillwater, Minnesota, Psychologist, Pain Rehabilitation Center, Carondelet Hospitals, Minneapolis, Volunteer work includes service as  Clinical Director of DirectAid Minnesota, Clinical Director, Grace Guidance of Minnesota, Member, Ethics Committee of MPA, Professional Practice Representative, Treasurer, and President, Arizona Psychological Association, Disaster Mental Health Worker in Puerto Rico for the American Red Cross, host of award-winning Mind Over Matter, weekly psychology show on NewsRadio 620, KTAR, and national lecturer/workshop leader on family forensics and Borderline Personality Disorder. Recipient of 2007 award for Outstanding Contribution to AzAFCC.
